What You’ll Do:
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to research and define future products and product enhancements
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, mocks, and prototypes
  • Create product artifacts, requirements documents, and user stories to be developed
  • Work directly with senior leadership, marketing, sales, operations, and engineering to develop the long term vision and product roadmap
  • Participate in the Agile development process and work closely with engineers
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Work with the leadership team to determine backlog priority based on business and customer needs and impact
What You Have:
  • You have excellent organizational and project management skills
  • You’re a superb communicator both written and verbally, and can hang in conversations with highly technical folks as well as business executives
  • You’re a fast learner who can quickly adapt to industry and understand the needs of a customer
  • You have a natural curiosity, a need to understand what makes people tick, and ask a lot of questions
  • You are well versed in UI/UX and conversion best practices and understand how to apply concepts like gamification and social psychology to product
  • You thrive in a fast paced, agile, iterative, and collaborative environment
  • You believe in the value of research, documentation, and requirements gathering
  • You use techniques like A/B testing and real user testing to validate your ideas with data
  • You’re familiar with the Agile software development life cycle
  • You’re committed to delivering the highest quality product and user experience possible
  • You’re comfortable in the entrepreneurial and “wear a lot of hats” environment of an early stage startup
  • You likely have previous experience in a technical engineering role or as a visual designer
  • You are a big picture strategic thinker, but also someone who can be tactical
  • You have a degree in Design, Technology, or Business and/or 3+ years of the relevant product management experience
