What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the technical leader for the Salesforce implementation team in determining the best approach to a requirement
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products
  • Provide solutions that are highly scalable, extensible and easy to maintain while keeping the overall end-user experience in mind
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and be the first line of support for any client questions or issues
  • Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout the duration of the project – act as a trusted partner
  • Lead project meetings with clients and their stakeholders
  • Communicate with developers and validate their solutions before development, and test the results to ensure that the development meets the needs of clients
  • Configure and maintain clients’ Salesforce instances via declarative tools, including workflows, process builders, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Train clients on Salesforce and newly built features
  • Ensure client instances are documented and well understood by the client’s key users

What You Have:

  • Minimum of 3 + years of Salesforce experience
  • Prior experience in a consulting or agency role
  • Salesforce Consulting Certification(s)
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration
  • Strong understanding of data architecture best practices
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to run Salesforce projects as a stand-alone leader

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Certifications: Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud Consultant
  • Other Salesforce certifications a plus
  • Project management (PMP or similar certification a plus)
  • Understanding of Agile process – scrum master certification a plus
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills
  • Background in agency work
  • Ability to handle multiple customer engagements at the same time
