Salesforce Developer/Consultant

Position Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for leading Salesforce projects from the discovery and requirements definition through delivery phases. They will be responsible for the overall solution design to meet the business requirements and fulfill user stories, and for both hands-on development and configuration as well as leading a team of resources through the build, test, and deployment phases. The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of Salesforce customer projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the technical leader for the team in determining the best approach to a requirement
  • Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products
  • Provide solutions that are highly scalable, extensible and easy to maintain while keeping the overall end-user experience in mind
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and be the first line of support for any client questions or issues
  • Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project – act as a trusted partner
  • Lead project meetings with clients and their stakeholders
  • Communicate with developers and validate their solutions not only before development, but also performing QA when required to ensure that the development meet the needs of clients
  • Configure and maintain clients’ Salesforce instances via declarative tools, including workflows, process builders, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Comfortable training clients on Salesforce and newly built features

What You Have:

  • Minimum of 5 + years of Salesforce experience
  • Salesforce Certification(s) Preferred
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of data architecture best practices
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills
