We’re looking for a Salesforce Project Manager to manage our Salesforce implementations and assist with improving our project management methodologies for all our Salesforce projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the successful implementation of large scale, complex Salesforce projects from inception to closure, working with consultants and developers
- Manage offshore developer resources as key project contributors
- Produce, update, and present project management artifacts: RACIs, user stories, Gantt charts, issues lists, and risk management matrices
- Manage backlogs and critical path items for all assigned initiatives in Jira and Trello and act as a scrum master for projects run on an Agile methodology
- Manage expectations and communication with key project stakeholders as well as team members
- Communicate to customer stakeholders regarding project progress, issue management, risk management, budget, timelines, and escalations
- Manage timeline, cost, and quality metrics for projects in your portfolio
- Manage releases and cutover plans
- Ensure compliance with customer change controls and SDLC components
- Drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance
- Ensure that team members have the best conditions to perform successfully, advocate for positive change and flag risks and problems
- Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement, continually assess people, process, and technology risks, and adjust project plans to address them accordingly
What You Have:
- 3+ years of experience delivering waterfall, agile or hybrid Salesforce projects
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting or agency role
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a closely related field preferred
- A sense of humor
- Strong understanding and experience with project management best practices in both waterfall and Agile frameworks
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Salesforce implementation project management experience preferred)
- Ability to engage with customers and align our delivery to their working style and cadence
- Ability to communicate complex topics in simple, succinct terms
- Effective time management and task prioritization
- Ability to handle multiple concurrently active projects
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to forecast project resourcing and project timeline based on tasks & team member allocation
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve project strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
- Ability to focus on building relationships with contacts and identifying solutions to their challenges with empathy and reason
- Openness to accepting criticism and receptive to the ideas of others
- Demonstration of a high level of initiative / confidence
- Resiliency when faced with difficult clients and projects
Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Salesforce Administrator certifications required, additional Salesforce certifications are a plus
- Project management certifications are a plus
